It did ask me if I wanted to download the Virtual Background Package, I clicked Download and it did not even asked for any password. I don't remember having to download anything, and I did use (if only as an experiment) virtual background before. Since several of my paid apps worked fine, Im guessing the apps that are greyed out are not totally compatible with iOS8 UNLESS theyre reloaded. Shortly thereafter, I noticed several greyed out apps that will ONLY work if I download a fresh copy. I don't want parts of my head to disappear, or my arms to be invisible when I do handwaving. Then, plugging back in, I selected my latest Backup, and Restored it to my new IP6. Zoom tries admirably, but the results are still poor, and I don't blame them. Check the system log just after starting up the computer. You can get to /Volumes using the Go to Folder dialog (G in the Finder). Check /Volumes to see if it is mounted at all. Unmount and remount the volume in Disk Utility. I have a few but never use them, as I feel that unless the user has a green screen, it is just not worth it. A few ideas to start with: If you havent already, restart the computer. I am afraid that I can't help with the virtual backgrounds. ![]() This seems to happen more in my afternoon, and it may be related to the issue above. On those occasions, usually by clicking the account and choosing Sign Out, and then logging in again, it is resolved. AppCleaner has had 0 updates within the past 6 months. Sometimes, after a while, I see that although I'm visibly signed in with a Pro account, privileges seem to be declined, as if I were in a Basic account - the most obvious sign being meetings cut off after 40 minutes. Download AppCleaner for Mac to uninstall apps from your Mac and clean all their left-over files safely. They are actually accessible if I click on them, and I have found that if I right click, the files revert to normal, but it is annoying. I upgraded to CC2020 and I am finding that when I navigate to place a file from within PS, the files are grey out out. So it is possible that at some point the number of people connected through this account reaches the number of available licenses and then if more people connect they get Basic mode. I use Zoom with SSO through the university at which I teach. ![]() In case of doubt: SSO is when you use an account by your organization (like university or company) and login with your organization's credencials. This lightweight app does a good job of clearing out. Is that a personal account or an organization's SSO account?
